A DAY  OF HERB GARDEN DESIGN

This will be a day of learning from scratch how and where to plant your herb garden.  Gail and Joe Ayers will teach the basics of herb garden design and help you make a list of the herbs that will best suit your needs.  The workshop will run from 10:00 AM till 4:00 PM.  Gail will serve a luncheon prepared with herbs.  The cost is $30.00 per person, which will include a selection of five herb plants for your garden.  Please call 814-274-7419 to reserve.

AN HERBAL RETREAT WEEKEND

Joe and Gail will host an informative and fun-filled herbal retreat at Frosty Hollow B&B.  With a combined 60 years of gardening and herbal experience, come expecting to learn a little more about the fasinating world of herbs from this husband and wife team.  Joe will be guiding guests though the gardens and greenhouse, while Gail will be teaching the cooking and decorating portions of the program. 

A two night stay at the B&B that Gail and Joe have been operating on the old family farm for sixteen years will bring a sense of relaxation and peace to compliment the learning experience.  Each guest will take home an item prepared in the cooking class as well as a decorative item.

On Saturday evening a local expert on medicinal herbs, Helene Nawrocki, will be on hand to speak on herbal remedies.

The Herbal Weekend cost is $125.00 per person, plus the cost of the room of your choice.  Bring a friend and split the room rate. All materials, as well as five meals, are included in the fee for the workshop.  You do not have to be a guest of the B&B to participate.
